Maybelline (AKA The Baby Holstein) melted our hearts the first time we picked her up. As a kid, she would sit in your lap for hours and nap. After not being able to decide whether to keep Maybelline or Myrtle, we kept both of them rather than making a decision (don't tell me you don't procrastinate on decisions you don't want to make!) and now we're over capacity with more kids on the way. May and her sister will both be fantastic milkers, following in line with their dam and sire. Her dam peaked at 3/4 gallon per day as a second freshener and we've heard anecdotally that her sire is adding milk volume. If you're looking for an affectionate, in-your-pocket doeling who will also give you a lot of milk, Maybelline is your gal!

Myrtle is a stunning and graceful goat with great conformation and a sweetheart of a personality. She prefers to bury her head in your armpit while receiving a scalp massage. This girl will put the milk in the pail! Her dam peaked at 3/4 gallon per day as a second freshener in 2019 and her sire comes from a line of superior genetics. Anecdotally, we have heard that her sire is adding milk volume to his daughters so she should be the complete package--beautiful, a sweetheart, and able to fill up the milk pail.

Merle is the only wether born here this year and has gotten the royal treatment from all the ladies as a result. He is a shameless flirt and prefers to be in your lap while chewing on your zipper (or hair, whichever is closest). Merle extended his planned stay here after his human fractured his tibia getting his leg stuck in the kid pen while putting him in for the night. He has been fully recovered since December but we haven't had the heart to put him up for sale until now (because more kids are on the way and we need the room in the barn). Because he prefers to jump in laps, homes with very small children will not be the best match since he doesn't understand that he doesn't weigh 3 pounds anymore. If you're looking for a super friendly pet that will keep you entertained by being a weirdo, this is your guy! He is very photogenic and is the star of our Instagram feed.
